Why does Laura Ingraham call asking kids to help out in the White House garden "slavery"?

Conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham on 10/30/09 said that Michelle Obama used "slave labor when she asked kids to help her garden. Yet Ingraham has no problem using unpaid "interns" do her grunt work for the radio show which is a commercial enterprise.

Don't worry. There was really no labor at all.....

The planting ceremony was a photo-op. Then, a few weeks later, they trucked in some grown vegetables and planted them so Michelle could have another photo-op as she "harvested".

Basically, they brought in "ringers". The kids were just props, not slaves.
